OnlyFans AI Content Policy 2026: What Is Allowed, What Gets Removed and How to Stay Compliant

The OnlyFans AI content policy under the October 2026 Terms: when an AI generated photo is allowed, what gets removed and how to stay compliant.

Article summary
  • Since the October 2026 Terms, OnlyFans allows AI content only if it clearly features the verified creator and is labelled, for example with #ai or #AIGenerated.
  • The Help Centre lists accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated, and content that features heavily altered images, among the things OnlyFans removes. An original AI persona does not fit.
  • The Terms also ban collecting data from OnlyFans content and using it to train AI, so build your AI model from photos you hold yourself.
  • A fully AI persona belongs on Fanvue or MYM with their disclosure labels. Fansly bans photorealistic AI content, labelled or not.

OnlyFans allows AI content only when it clearly features the verified creator, carries a label fans can see, and follows the rest of the platform’s rules. The October 2026 Terms of Use added the “verified Creator” condition, and the Help Centre now lists wholly AI-generated accounts and content among the things it removes. An original AI persona with no real creator behind the face no longer fits on OnlyFans.

Every rule below is quoted from the OnlyFans Terms of Use (last updated October 2026), its Acceptable Use Policy (last updated September 2025) and its Help Centre, all read on 5 October 2026. Policies change, so check the linked pages before you post.

What the October 2026 Terms say about AI content

The AI rule sits in the transparency section of the OnlyFans Terms of Use:

AI Generated Content: You can only share Content that has been generated, altered, or enhanced by artificial intelligence (“AI Generated Content”) if: it clearly features the verified Creator; a User can clearly tell that the Content is AI Generated Content with a signifier such as #ai, or #AIGenerated; and it is in keeping with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

All three conditions have to be met at once.

  1. It clearly features the verified Creator. An AI generated photo of you, the person who passed OnlyFans’ identity checks, qualifies. An image of a persona who does not exist, or of somebody else, does not.
  2. Fans can tell it is AI. A caption signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated is the simplest way to meet this.
  3. It follows the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. AI content gets no exemption from the normal content rules.

The Help Centre article Can I post AI content on OnlyFans? opens with “All content posted on OnlyFans must belong to a verified Creator.” It ends with the consequence: “If you do not follow these guidelines, you will be in breach of OnlyFans’ Terms of Service and risk your content, and your account, being deactivated.”

What changed from the August 2024 Terms

The previous Terms of Use, last updated in August 2024, only asked for a label:

AI Generated content must comply with our Terms of Service and must be clearly and conspicuously captioned as AI Generated Content with a signifier such as #ai, or #AIGenerated.

That wording said nothing about who the content had to show. Many guides, including an earlier version of this one, read it as room for an AI persona run from a verified account. The October 2026 text closes that reading. The label is still required, and the content now also has to clearly feature the verified creator.

What OnlyFans removes

The Help Centre page What content can I post on OnlyFans? lists what cannot be shared. Two items matter for AI. Content cannot be shared if it:

features a creator whose identity we cannot verify, including accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated, or features heavily altered images

OnlyFans does not define “heavily altered”. The safe reading is that AI content of you should still look like you. If an edit changes your face or body so much that the person in the image no longer matches the person OnlyFans verified, it is at risk.

The same page says “All content posted on OnlyFans can be moderated by our team, including direct messages between you and your fans.” AI content in paid messages follows the same rules as posts.

Allowed and not allowed at a glance

What you want to post On OnlyFans Rule that decides it
AI generated photo or video of yourself, labelled #ai Allowed Terms of Use, AI Generated Content
AI-retouched or AI-enhanced photo of yourself Allowed with a label “generated, altered, or enhanced” counts as AI content
A fully AI persona with no real creator behind the face Not allowed Help Centre: “wholly AI-generated” accounts and content
An edit that makes you unrecognisable At risk of removal Help Centre: “heavily altered images”
Your face swapped onto another performer’s body Not allowed Acceptable Use Policy: everyone in explicit content must be onboarded or released
Another real person’s face without consent Not allowed Acceptable Use Policy: no explicit image of another person without consent
Unlabelled AI content Not allowed Terms of Use: fans must be able to tell

Other people in AI content

The Acceptable Use Policy prohibits “Any explicit image of another person without their consent including an artificially generated image.” It also prohibits content featuring anyone in explicit content “who has not completed our Creator onboarding process or provided us with a properly completed release form.”

The Help Centre article on content featuring someone else explains how to show that a collaborator is over 18 and has consented: tag their verified OnlyFans account, ask them to open one, or send them a release form invitation. It adds that “the majority of the content must feature the Creator who opened the account.”

For AI this means a generated second person is not a loophole. If the image shows a real person other than you, OnlyFans expects the same proof as for a real shoot. If it shows a person who does not exist, it fails the “verified Creator” condition.

Scraping and AI training are banned

The October 2026 Terms add a clause that matters for anyone building an AI model:

You agree that you will not use any manual or automatic tool or process designed to collect any data or information from Content or Direct Services, or to circumvent any measure that controls access to Content or Direct Services in any way. You may also not use Content or Direct Services to train or enhance any software, machine learning or artificial intelligence system.

The Acceptable Use Policy separately prohibits “scraping, downloading, sharing, or gathering information from OnlyFans or any Creator for any reason.” The Help Centre answer on downloading content is blunt: “Copying or downloading content from OnlyFans is a breach of our Terms of Service.”

In practice, train your AI model on original photos you hold on your own phone or computer. Do not download posts from OnlyFans to use as reference images, yours or anyone else’s.

How OnlyFans checks content

OnlyFans does not publish how it detects AI images. What it does say is in the Terms: reviews may use “classifiers, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-enabled tools to detect and remove Content that violates our policies.”

Identity is checked on a schedule too. The Safety and Transparency Center says “All Creator accounts are subject to secondary “selfie checks” on a rolling 45-day cycle.“ A creator who fails one loses access while the account is reviewed. AI content that matches you passes the same logic. AI content that does not match you is exactly what these checks exist to catch.

The law behind the platform rules

In the US, the TAKE IT DOWN Act backs these rules with law. The Federal Trade Commission’s compliance guide says the Act “covers nonconsensual intimate real photos and videos as well as “digital forgeries,” such as images that were digitally created or altered using software, an app, or artificial intelligence.“ Covered platforms that receive a valid request must remove the content “and known identical copies within 48 hours.” The FTC has enforced that requirement since 19 May 2026.

Other countries have their own rules on sexual deepfakes. The safe line is the same everywhere: never generate intimate content of a real person who has not consented.

Where a fully AI persona can go instead

If your plan is an original AI creator, OnlyFans is the wrong platform. Others take a different view, each with its own conditions:

  • Fanvue allows “fully AI-generated content” with a disclosure that “must be clear and prominent”, shown in the bio, the caption or as a watermark, according to its AI content policy.
  • MYM allows AI content if you label it “Virtual Image” or use #AI or #AIgenerated, and applies an “AI profile” badge to the account, per its AI content guide.
  • Fansly says “Photorealistic AI-generated content is not allowed on Fansly” and that labelling it does not change that, in its AI content article. Only non-photorealistic virtual creators can apply.

Compliance checklist before you post on OnlyFans

  1. Is it you? The content clearly shows the verified creator of the account.
  2. Is it still recognisably you? No edit so heavy that your face or body no longer matches your verification.
  3. Is it labelled? #ai or #AIGenerated in the caption, for photos, videos and paid messages.
  4. Is anyone else in it? If so, they are verified through OnlyFans’ own process.
  5. Where did the training photos come from? Your own originals, never downloads from OnlyFans.

Making AI content of yourself with FansCreator

FansCreator builds your AI model from reference photos you upload, then keeps your face and body consistent across NSFW AI images and video. AI face swap and video face swap work on your own face, your own AI persona’s, or a face whose owner gave provable consent; anything else breaks the FansCreator Terms of Use.

FansCreator does not post for you. You download each file and publish it yourself, so the #ai label and the choice of platform stay with you. You can start on the free plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI content allowed on OnlyFans in 2026?

Yes, under three conditions in the October 2026 Terms of Use: it clearly features the verified Creator, fans can tell it is AI through a signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated, and it follows the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Can I run a fully AI model on OnlyFans?

No. The Terms require AI content to clearly feature the verified Creator, and the Help Centre lists accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated among the things OnlyFans removes. Fanvue and MYM allow fully AI creators with clear AI labels.

Do I need to label AI-enhanced photos of myself?

The Terms define AI Generated Content as content generated, altered, or enhanced by AI, and require a signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated. If AI touched the image, label it.

Can I train an AI model on my OnlyFans content?

Not on content taken from OnlyFans. The Terms say you may not use Content to train any AI system and may not use tools to collect data from Content. Use original photos you hold on your own device instead.
