Can You Automate OnlyFans Cross-Posting to X, Instagram and TikTok?

OnlyFans has no public API and bans scraping, so it can't be automated. What you can do: make each file once, adapt it per platform and use native schedulers.

Article summary
  • You cannot automate OnlyFans itself. OnlyFans says it has no public facing API, and its Acceptable Use Policy bans scraping or downloading from OnlyFans for any reason, so never pull files out of OnlyFans to repost them.
  • What you can streamline is the work before posting: make each file once from your own originals or AI photos of you, then export a separate safe-for-work version for each social platform.
  • X, Instagram and TikTok each have their own adult content and AI labelling rules. Instagram and TikTok both remove nudity, and Meta and TikTok ask you to label realistic AI content.
  • Use each platform's own scheduler where it exists: X Pro, Instagram's in-app scheduling and TikTok's desktop scheduling for eligible accounts. Post to OnlyFans yourself.

No, you cannot automate cross-posting from OnlyFans. OnlyFans says it has no public API, and its rules ban scraping or downloading content from the site for any reason. What you can streamline is everything before the post: make each file once, export a safe version for each social platform, and use the scheduling tools X, Instagram and TikTok offer themselves.

Here is why OnlyFans stays manual, what each social platform allows, and a workflow that saves time without breaking anyone’s rules. Every platform page below was read on 5 October 2026.

Why OnlyFans itself cannot be automated

Two OnlyFans rules close the door on posting bots and “cross-posting from OnlyFans” tools.

  • No public API. The Help Centre says “OnlyFans does not have a public facing API and Creators may not directly integrate AI chat bots into the OnlyFans platform” (Can I use an AI chatbot on OnlyFans?). A tool that claims to post to OnlyFans for you is not using an official integration.
  • No scraping or downloading. The Acceptable Use Policy bans “Copying content including scraping, downloading, sharing, or gathering information from OnlyFans or any Creator for any reason.” The Help Centre adds that “Copying or downloading content from OnlyFans is a breach of our Terms of Service” (Can I download or copy content from OnlyFans?).

The Terms of Use go further: you may not use “any manual or automatic tool or process designed to collect any data or information from Content”, or use Content “to train or enhance any software, machine learning or artificial intelligence system.”

So the direction of “cross-posting” matters. Never take files out of OnlyFans to repost them. Work from the originals on your own device and treat OnlyFans as one more destination you post to by hand.

What OnlyFans says about promoting your page

OnlyFans expects you to promote your page elsewhere, with a few limits. Its Help Centre article on promoting your account says you can connect your account to other platforms and “use link aggregators”. It also says not to promote in a way that “is false”, “suggests that your profile is endorsed by OnlyFans”, breaks the rules of the platform you are using, or “uses Google Ads or any similar advertising platform”.

The Terms put it the same way: “Any link promoting your Creator account must comply with our Terms of Service and the terms of service where you advertise.” So the rules of X, Instagram and TikTok are part of the OnlyFans rules too.

What each social platform allows

The three big promo platforms treat adult content very differently. This table sums up their own pages.

Platform Adult nudity Promotion limits AI label
X Allowed if labelled and not prominently displayed Promoting or soliciting sexual services not allowed No general AI label rule found
Instagram Removed, including AI images Links to pornographic sites not allowed; adult subscription site links restricted to adults Required for photorealistic video and realistic audio
TikTok Generally not allowed Facilitating access to pornography not allowed Required for realistic AI content

X

X’s adult content policy says: “You may share consensually produced and distributed adult nudity or sexual behavior, provided it’s properly labeled and not prominently displayed.” It adds that this “also applies to AI-generated, photographic or animated content”. Adult content is not allowed “in live video, profile pictures, headers, List banners, or Community cover photos”, and promoting or soliciting sexual services is still not allowed.

To label media, X’s media settings page describes a setting to “Mark media you post as containing material that may be sensitive”, plus one-time warnings on individual photos and videos.

Instagram

Meta’s adult nudity standard says it removes “AI- or computer-generated images of nudity and sexual activity, and digital imagery, regardless of whether it looks “photorealistic”“. AI nudity is treated like real nudity. Keep everything on Instagram fully clothed and safe for work.

Its sexual solicitation standard does not allow content that “contains usernames or links to pornographic websites”, and restricts to adults “Content that contains usernames, links to or logos of Adult Subscription Websites”.

On AI, Meta says in its misinformation standard: “We require people to disclose, using our AI-disclosure tool, whenever they post organic content with photorealistic video or realistic-sounding audio that was digitally created or altered”.

TikTok

TikTok’s sensitive and mature themes guidelines say “we generally don’t allow adult nudity or sexual activity”, and list “Facilitating access to sexual services, such as offering or asking for sexual acts, sexual chats or imagery, or pornography” as not allowed. A direct route from TikTok to an adult page risks falling under that rule.

Its integrity and authenticity guidelines say “we require creators to label AI-generated or significantly edited content that shows realistic-looking scenes or people”, with a caption, sticker, watermark or TikTok’s AIGC label.

A workflow that saves time without breaking rules

The time saving comes from making each piece once and adapting it, not from a bot that posts everywhere.

Step 1: Keep one source folder

Put your originals in one place: your own photos and clips, and any AI photos of you. This folder, not OnlyFans, is where every version starts.

Step 2: Split each idea into lanes

For each idea, decide up front which version goes where:

  • OnlyFans: the full set, with #ai on every AI piece.
  • X: a teaser, marked as sensitive if it contains adult content, never in your profile photo or header.
  • Instagram and TikTok: a clothed, safe-for-work version, labelled as AI where their rules ask for it.

Step 3: Create the versions in one session

This is where you can create photos with AI to save the most time. With one identity, you can generate a clothed promo image and the matching full set from the same scene, setting and outfit. On OnlyFans, the AI content must clearly feature you, the verified creator, with #ai or #AIGenerated, per the Help Centre. The moderation guide also lists “accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated” and content that “features heavily altered images” among what you cannot share. A persona with an invented face belongs on Fanvue or MYM with their labels, not on OnlyFans.

Step 4: Export per platform

Each platform crops and compresses differently. Export each version in the format its destination needs, and scrub metadata before anything goes public.

Step 5: Schedule with each platform’s own tools

Native schedulers do the automation that is allowed:

  • X. X says “X Pro allows you to schedule posts in advance”, including for multiple accounts (X Pro features). X Pro is a Premium feature.
  • Instagram. Public accounts can schedule “reels, photos and carousel posts from the Instagram app”, and “You can schedule up to 25 posts a day, up to 30 days in advance” (Instagram Help Centre).
  • TikTok. “Only a “Business Account” or over with a 10,000 followers or more can access desktop scheduling“, and posts can be scheduled “a maximum of 10 days in advance” (TikTok support).
  • Fanvue. If you also sell there, Fanvue lets you schedule posts from its own post and queue pages.

OnlyFans posting stays with you, by hand.

Step 6: Check labels before anything goes live

Before each post, check three things: the right version for the platform, the sensitive-media setting on X, and the AI label wherever it is required.

What to avoid

  • Third-party tools that log into OnlyFans for you. OnlyFans has no public API, and the Terms keep you responsible for everything on your account.
  • Saving files from OnlyFans to repost. Banned “for any reason” by the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • The same file everywhere. An explicit teaser that is fine on X, if labelled, is removed on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Adult content in your X profile photo or header. Not allowed, even if your posts are labelled.
  • Someone else’s face. Only your own face, your own AI persona, or a face whose owner gave provable consent. FansCreator’s Terms of Use prohibit anything else.

Where FansCreator fits in the workflow

FansCreator covers steps 3 and 4. It keeps one face and body across images and clips, so the clothed promo and the paid set look like the same person, and its downloads are formatted for OnlyFans, Fanvue, Instagram, TikTok and X. Use the NSFW AI image generator for sets, the uncensored AI image editor to adjust an outfit or fix a detail, and metadata scrubbing before you export.

FansCreator does not schedule or post anything. You download the files and post them yourself, or schedule them with each platform’s own tools. Our OnlyFans AI content policy guide has the full OnlyFans wording if you want to check a post first. To try the workflow, start on the free plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an official OnlyFans API for posting?

No. The OnlyFans Help Centre says OnlyFans does not have a public facing API. Any tool that claims to post to or pull from OnlyFans automatically is not using an official integration.

Can I download my OnlyFans posts and repost them on X?

Use the original files from your own device instead. The OnlyFans Acceptable Use Policy bans scraping, downloading, sharing or gathering information from OnlyFans or any Creator for any reason, and the Help Centre says copying or downloading content from OnlyFans is a breach of the Terms.

Can I schedule posts on X, Instagram and TikTok natively?

Yes, with limits. X says X Pro allows you to schedule posts in advance. Instagram lets public accounts schedule reels, photos and carousels in the app, up to 25 posts a day and 30 days ahead. TikTok desktop scheduling is limited to Business Accounts or accounts with 10,000 followers or more, up to 10 days ahead.

Does FansCreator post to my accounts?

No. FansCreator generates, edits and formats the files, with downloads for OnlyFans, Fanvue, Instagram, TikTok and X. You download them and post them yourself.
