- Yes, fans pay for labelled AI content on platforms that allow it. Fanvue treats AI creators as a verified category and says fans who subscribe to a clearly labelled AI creator cannot get a refund just because the creator is AI.
- There is no independent public data on conversion rates for AI versus human content. The benchmarks that circulate online come from agencies and tool sellers and do not show their method.
- On OnlyFans, AI content must clearly feature you, the verified creator, and carry #ai. Wholly AI-generated accounts are not allowed, so a persona belongs on Fanvue or MYM.
- The reliable answer for your page is your own data: label every AI piece, log it, and compare unlocks and tips between AI and non-AI sets.

Yes, subscribers pay for content created with AI, as long as it is on a platform that allows it and it is clearly labelled. What nobody can tell you honestly is how much more or less they pay than for non-AI content. There is no independent public data on that, and the conversion benchmarks that circulate online do not show where they come from.

Here is what the platforms say on the record, what that evidence does and does not prove, and how to get a real answer for your own page.

## What the platforms say on the record

The clearest evidence that fans pay for AI content comes from Fanvue, because it lets fully AI creators sell there.

- **AI creators are a verified category.** Fanvue's Help Centre says "AI creators are a fully recognised and verified category on Fanvue" and that every AI creator account "goes through the same verification process as human creators" ([How do I know if a creator is AI?](https://help.fanvue.com/en/articles/14290142-how-do-i-know-if-a-creator-is-ai)).
- **Fans subscribe knowing it is AI.** The same article says every AI creator has "an AI tag displayed in their profile bio", that "All fans are required to check a creator's bio before subscribing", and that if the label was visible at the time, Fanvue is "unable to issue a refund on the basis that the creator is AI".
- **Fanvue's own numbers.** Fanvue's [AI Monetisation Report 2026](https://landing.fanvue.com/report) page says "Creators using AI‑powered content on Fanvue monetize 20% more than those who don't." Its [about page](https://www.fanvue.com/pages/about) says "Over 93% of creators on Fanvue actively use at least one of our proprietary AI tools".

Read those last two figures with care. They are the platform's own claims, and the public pages do not explain the method or define "AI‑powered content". The 93% figure is about Fanvue's own tools, such as messaging and analytics, not about AI-generated photos. Neither proves that AI content converts better on your page.

## Why the popular benchmarks do not hold up

You will find precise-looking figures online: conversion rates for "hybrid" versus "pure AI" accounts, unlock rates by content type, retention after 90 days. We checked where they come from. Almost all of them trace back to OnlyFans management agencies, courses or AI tool sellers, and none we found showed how many accounts were measured, over what period, or how AI content was identified.

That does not mean the figures are wrong. It means you cannot plan around them. An agency selling a hybrid model has a reason to report that hybrid accounts win.

What would count as solid evidence:

- **Data from the platform itself,** with a stated method.
- **Peer-reviewed research** or a regulator's study.
- **Your own numbers,** measured the same way over time.

Today only the third is easy to get.

## The rules decide who can sell AI content at all

Whether fans pay for your AI content first depends on whether you are allowed to post it. Each rule below links to the platform's own page, read on 5 October 2026.

| Platform | Fully AI persona | AI content of a real, verified creator | Label |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **OnlyFans** | Not allowed | Allowed if it clearly features the verified creator | #ai or #AIGenerated |
| **Fanvue** | Allowed and verified | Allowed; face swaps need the real model verified | Clear disclosure in bio, caption or watermark |
| **MYM** | Allowed, with an "AI profile" badge | Allowed | "Virtual Image", #AI or #AIgenerated |
| **Fansly** | Only non-photorealistic | Photorealistic AI not allowed | Labelling does not make it allowed |

The details:

- **OnlyFans.** The [Terms of Use](https://onlyfans.com/terms) allow AI content only if "it clearly features the verified Creator", a user can tell it is AI "with a signifier such as #ai, or #AIGenerated", and it follows the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. The Help Centre article [Can I post AI content on OnlyFans?](https://onlyfans.com/help/196/205/211) says the same, and the [moderation guide](https://onlyfans.com/help/196/205/206) lists "accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated" and content that "features heavily altered images" among what you cannot share. Our [OnlyFans AI content policy guide](/onlyfans-ai-content-policy) quotes all of it.
- **Fanvue.** Its [AI content article](https://help.fanvue.com/en/articles/9538738-is-ai-content-allowed-on-fanvue) allows fully AI-generated content and face swaps, but "you MUST verify the real model behind the AI", and disclosure "must be clear and prominent".
- **MYM.** Its [AI content guide](https://support.mym.fans/hc/en-us/articles/14997634314524-AI-Generated-Content-on-MYM-What-You-Need-to-Know) asks for "Virtual Image" or #AI or #AIgenerated, and MYM applies an "AI profile" badge to accounts made of AI content.
- **Fansly.** Its [AI content article](https://help.fansly.com/en/articles/12315578-ai-generated-content-on-fansly) says "Photorealistic AI-generated content is not allowed on Fansly", and labelling does not change that.

So on OnlyFans, the question is really "do my fans pay for AI content of me?" A persona with an invented face belongs on Fanvue or MYM.

## Labels and trust

Every platform above that allows AI content requires a label. That changes the question. Fans are not being asked to pay for something they think is a photo shoot. They are paying for content they can see is AI.

Two rules protect that trust:

- **No misleading descriptions.** The OnlyFans [Acceptable Use Policy](https://onlyfans.com/acceptable-use-policy) prohibits "misleading descriptions of media or account information". Do not sell an AI set as a filmed custom.
- **No real person without consent.** The same policy bans "Any explicit image of another person without their consent including an artificially generated image." Fanvue says AI media "must not be of a real person other than the account owner".

A fan who feels misled is more likely to ask for a refund, report the post or leave. A clear label up front avoids that.

## How to find out if your own fans pay

You do not need industry benchmarks. You need a fair test on your own page.

1. **Label and log everything.** Add #ai to every AI piece on OnlyFans, and keep a simple log: date, file, price, AI or not.
2. **Compare like with like.** Test AI and non-AI sets with the same theme, the same price and a similar posting time. On OnlyFans, a pay to unlock post can be priced from $3 to $100, per the Help Centre on [locked posts](https://onlyfans.com/help/196/217/221) and [paid messages](https://onlyfans.com/help/196/217/220).
3. **Track what fans do.** Unlocks, tips and replies for each set, from your own statements.
4. **Give it time.** One week of results says little. Run the test for a few months before you change your mix.
5. **Listen to messages.** If fans ask whether something is AI, or say they prefer one kind of set, write it down.

At the end you have a number that applies to your fans, measured in a way you understand.

## What tends to decide whether AI content sells

Without public data, we will not put figures on this. But a few factors are within your control, and each is easy to check:

- **Consistency.** If your face changes between sets, fans notice. Keep one identity across images and clips.
- **Quality control.** Delete images with broken hands, warped backgrounds or a drifting face before anyone sees them.
- **Fit with your page.** AI content that matches your usual style, settings and voice feels like part of the page, not a different account.
- **Honesty.** A visible label, and descriptions that match what the fan gets.

## Where FansCreator fits

FansCreator generates AI photos and video of you or of your own AI persona, with the same face and body across every set. Use the [NSFW AI image generator](/nsfw-ai-image-generator) for sets, the [NSFW AI video generator](/nsfw-ai-video-generator) to turn a strong still into a clip, and download files formatted for OnlyFans, Fanvue, Instagram, TikTok and X. You download the files and post them yourself, with your own labels.

If you want to run the test above, start on the free plan. Only use your own face, your own AI persona, or a face whose owner gave provable consent. FansCreator's [Terms of Use](/terms) prohibit anything else.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do fans know when content is AI?

They should. OnlyFans requires a signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated on AI content, Fanvue requires a clear and prominent disclosure and shows an AI tag on AI creator profiles, and MYM asks for Virtual Image, #AI or #AIgenerated.

### Is there reliable data on AI content conversion rates?

Not publicly. Fanvue's own 2026 report says creators using AI-powered content on Fanvue monetize 20% more than those who don't, but it is the platform's own claim and the public page gives no method. Figures from agencies and tool sellers usually show no method at all.

### Can a fully AI persona earn on OnlyFans?

No. The OnlyFans Terms of Use only allow AI content that clearly features the verified creator, and the Help Centre lists accounts or content that are wholly AI-generated as content you cannot share. Fanvue and MYM allow AI creators with disclosure.

### Can a fan get a refund because a creator turned out to be AI?

On Fanvue, not if the AI label was visible on the profile when they subscribed. Fanvue says all fans are required to check a creator's bio before subscribing.
